YOGYAKARTA (19/11/2021) - For two days, German Language Education lecturers participated in an article writing training at Hotel Surokarsan on November 19-20, 2021. The activity was directly opened by the Head of the German Language Education Department, Dr. Dra. Wening Sahayu, M.Pd. In her remarks, Frau Wening conveyed that this activity was a realization of the 2021 Work Plan and was a follow-up to the results of internal quality audits (AMI). She added that increasing publications is a necessity and is one of the important indicators in developing the quality of the study program.

After the welcoming remarks and official opening by the department head, the activity continued with training delivered by Prof. Dr. Sulis Triyono, M.Pd., who is also the Head of the UNY Library and Editor in Chief of the Cakrawal Pendidikan Journal. The material presented covered techniques for writing scholarly works, the use of reference tools, techniques for searching journals suitable for articles, and the practice of adjusting writing to journal templates. On the second day, the lecturers independently applied the training material to complete draft journals for publication. From this activity, a number of articles by participating lecturers were produced and ready for publication. (Dz)
