YOGYAKARTA (04/05/2023) - Department of German Language Education and Bund der Deutsch-Studenten (The Student Association of German Language Education), Faculty of Language Arts and Culture, Yogyakarta State University organized a Studium General with the theme "Mit Deutsch nach D. A. CH." on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

This activity was attended by lecturers, teachers, students, and students online and offline. Ade Umar Said Schütz, who currently works at Goethe-Institut München, shared his experience of studying and working with German language skills. Herr Ade is a graduate of the German Language Education Department of FBSB UNY. According to Dr. Akbar Kuntardi Setiawan S.Pd, M.Hum, Secretary of the Department of German Language Education FBSB UNY, Herr Ade is an example of alumni who make German a lifestyle or role of civilization. He said that this is a very extraordinary opportunity. "The students can emulate Herr Ade's success, especially how to survive and overcome the problems faced in Germany," Herr Iwan said.

Furthermore, as the Präsidentin of Bund der Deutsch-Studenten, Meira Pratiwi gave a speech, congratulating the Faculty of Language Arts and Culture on its 60th anniversary. Meira also expressed her gratitude to friends who have been willing to attend today's event, both offline and online. In addition, Meira also used this opportunity to wish FBSB UNY a happy 60th birthday. "Hopefully this event can enliven the FBSB Anniversary and we are all more enthusiastic about learning German to achieve our goals," Meira concluded. (Mut)
